In the centre of León, in the incomparable and magical setting of Plaza del Grano, our Restaurant Carbajalas is known for its traditional Leonese cuisine, bringing our guests closer to the classic flavours of the past.

We work with love and dedication to offer you a market cuisine with daily menus and a menu at weekends with our best specialties.

To open your mouth we have a wide selection of starters and salads: cazurrada of Sahagún leeks with grilled Astorga ham, grilled veal gizzards, baby squids or grilled zamburiñas, broken eggs with ham and foie, grilled mushrooms with bacon, Benedictine salad (with cecina, pineapple, goat cheese, chestnut, fig and raspberries with honey sauce and old mustard).

Our restaurant specializes in rice, in whose menu you can find more than 12 different varieties such as rice with octopus, rice with vegetables or black rice with squid and zamburiñas, monkfish, boletus and clams, rice with cheeks and carabineros, mellow rice with national blue lobster or chicken with lobster. We also emphasize an exquisite treatment to the meat as much roasted as to the plant and to the fish of season of first qualities: pig of board, lamb of Leon, shoulder of lamb, entrecôte or sirloin of Galician blond calf. In fish specialty is the cod or conger eel with garlic mule with the recipe as marked by the tradition of the area, grilled cod, fried hake and if fishing allows, anglerfish, turbot and seasonal fish.

-Friday and Saturday: from 21.00 to 22.30
